Vintage Motorola PT300 two-way walkie-talkie radio transceiver w/case

Vintage Motorola portable "lunchbox" FM radiophone transceiver with an olive-drab khaki canvas carrying tote or case. This is a "Motorola PT300 - Handie-Talkie Radio", a portable two way radio with a hand held microphone. It doesn't have an antenna, just the threaded connector.

We're not sure of the exact vintage of this radio, but were told probably from the 1960s or 1970s.

This radio is marked as a model "P31DDN-1130AM" and type "CC1505". It appears to be a two channel radio and is marked for transmitting and receiving on radio frequencies "T1 37.700MC - R1 37.700MC" and "T2 37.540MC - R2 37.500MC". The radio measures about 8" x 8" x 4".

This FM walkie-talkie radio is from the estate of an industrial communications engineer and shortwave / ham radio enthusiast. The plastic case of this radio has some dents and dings, but no major chips or cracks. However, the battery terminals in this case are badly corroded.

We powered up this radio with the base and antenna off of a different unit and it crackles, but we don't have any other radio with these frequencies. This radio was in storage in an attic for many years and has dust and soil from storage and we are assuming that you'll need to do some tweaking, tuning etc to this radio.

The canvas bag case is faded, worn and has a couple of holes on the inside.

We are selling this vintage radio for repair or parts.
