Vintage Olympia SM3 DeLuxe typewriter w/ case, 1940s mid century industrial typewriter Germany Western Zone

Late 40s Olympia SM3 Deluxe portable typewriter with the original streamlined case and manual. This is marked Olympia Werke AG - Wilhelmshaven - Germany Western Zone. That would date this typewriter to between 1945 and 1949.

This marked in several places on the case (and manual) with the owner's name and rank in the US Coast Guard.

This typewriter looks good but dusty. This will need to be tuned up and given a good cleaning before using. The case has some chipping to the paint in areas.
