Old industrial receipt/invoice writer, shop invoice or bill of sale

Heavy 1950s machine age manual receipt writer for pre-printed carbon paper forms. These were popular in industrial and retail settings like loading docks for truckers, factory floors as well as shops and garages.

This receipt writer measures about 16 1/2" long, 8" wide and 6 3/4" high. The window for the printed form is 5 1/8" x 4". It is marked with a patent number from 1957 and still has some of the original bills of sale inside from a shoe store.

It is in nice clean condition, but there is some wear and age to the exterior paint
