Never worn 60s vintage Scholl's all leather Archlift sandals, early Dr. Scholls

Vintage Scholl Archlift sandals with a patent number dating to 1959. These are all leather, never worn, still in the original (very beat-up) box.

Size is marked on both the box and the shoe as an 8. It's 9 1/2" long over the foot area of the shoe, which seems a little large for a vintage size 8 women's shoe, though small for a men's sandal.

We'd guess these were made to really fit real feet and so would run larger than a 'fashionable' shoe. But we're not absolutely certain if these are mens or womens sandals as the style is rather unisex.

These are more of a collectible than new old store stock vintage to wear, I think - but please, email us with more detailed measurements of your current shoes or foot if you're planning to wear them anyway!
