vintage lucite handle chrome carafe bottle, glass insulated pitcher for coffee or ice water

Vintage railroad / restaurant carafe, glass lined and chrome plated, with deco style lucite plastic handle. This is a Thermos model number 2585, mid-centuryish.

The interior looks perfect, and the exterior not bad - although there's a little scratching, and a couple of tiny stress cracks near the base.
