Vintage Sony TC-255 reel to reel tape player with manual, schematics etc.

Vintage 1970s Sony model TC-255 reel to reel tape player recorder for restoration or parts. This player is in nice cosmetic condition and has the original manual with wiring schematics, maintenance information etc..

This measures 15 1/2" x 13 1/2" x 4 3/4".

This tape player does need some cleaning and / or lubrication. The pickup head isn't moving when the player is switched to play, but when moved manually it plays through headphones connected to the headphone jack.

Again, we think that this is a cleaning and lubrication issue, but we are selling this player for restoration or parts. The manual also has some water damage.
