1940s public swimming pool operation with photos Dept of Public Health

Vintage 1940s circular from the Illinois Department of Public Health on the "Swimming Pool Operation". It is dated 1946 and revised 1984. This booklet is written for public pools (city and small town pools, country clubs etc.) and has about 72 pages including 11 pages of black and white photos. There are sections on sanitizing, algae control, cleaning the bottom of the pool, ph control, pumps and filters and more.

This is in nice vintage condition with labels on the front cover and an owner's name and address on the back.
