vintage Chinese fortune telling sticks in Chinatown style vase Confucius wise man

Retro vintage cast metal vase with Confucius, filled with bamboo Chinese fortune telling sticks. Not antique, looks like a Chinatown piece!

We don't know anything about I-ching or fortune sticks, and these have no instructions. But there's a lot of them here, in at least a couple of different sayings in characters.

The sticks are about 9 1/4" long, and have some wear. The metal vase is in very good condition, and measures a little over 8" tall.
