hand carved wood bowl of tropical fruit, retro 60s vintage tiki style decor

Hand carved wood fruit in a wooden bowl... this looks like mahogany to me, rather than the more common monkey pod wood or acacia. None of it seems to be marked at all!

The fruit is close to life size, with the banana 9" long end to end. The bowl is about 9" in diameter, drilled for a handle (not included). The bowl has a few small cracks, the fruit looks good.
