Vintage Fritzel wood bead counter, old wooden counting toy

Old wooden counting frame with Fritzel Toys label, a math and numbers learning toy, 50s vintage? It's 11" x 7" over the frame, with large wood beads on metal rods.

This has seen a lot of use and the wood is covered with generations of fingerprints, as well as the initials of a former owner marked in ink.
