Lot of 40s/50s vintage air resistors homebrew radio parts

Lot of seven mid-century 1940s or 1950s vintage air resistors. These are from the estate of an electrical engineer and shortwave radio buff.

Some of these are new old stock and some have been recycled from other uses and saved for reusing is other projects. There is two air resistors that measure 1.625" square x 1" long, one that is 1.5" square x 0.875" long and four new-old-stock that measure 1" square x 9/16" long. (these resistors were still sealed in the plastic bag until we opened them to photograph them.
