Old mid-century 60's Peerless-Telerad transistor "The VIP Radio". This vintage Eames era radio has a mod wood-grained triangular plastic case and is marked "Made in Japan". It has an aluminum name plate marked "The VIP Radio - Model NPR-100" and has tuning and volume control knobs. We think that this radio only picks up AM stations and doesn't pick up FM stations.. The radio isn't marked for the band, but it doesn't have a switch to change the band.

This radio takes a standard 9 volt battery and works well. It is in nice vintage condition, but although it does have some rust inside the battery compartment from an old leaking battery, the terminals and wires are in good shape.
