mid-century mod vintage ceramic candle holder, USA pottery girl w/ branching arms

Large (about 13" tall x 9 3/4" wide) ceramic candlestick girl, mid-century vintage, marked USA. Maybe a California pottery piece? Wish we knew the artist behind this piece, it's so mod!

This has all over glaze crazing, but no chips or cracks. There's traced of old florist's wax in the candle cups, and a loose cork or something like that rattling around inside.
