Vintage French wire kitchen produce basket, original tags France

Vintage French wire kitchen basket for cooking or steaming, with collapsible shape. This is marked Made in France - and marked (in French) Guaranteed Pure Gold Coated (whatever that means officially? this is gold colored, certainly, but we have not tested the gold!)

The hang tag has some wear from an old price label, but the basket is in excellent shape, with the finish in perfect condition. The basket measures 5 1/2" deep.
