Huge industrial 2 ohm variable resistor/potentiometer Hardwick-Hindle/Ohmite

Huge vintage 10" Hardwick-Hindle industrial variable resistor or potentiometer. This is rated for 2 ohms, 19.36 amps and is insulated for 600 volts. It carries a US Patent number from 1954. It measures about 10" in diameter and 3.75" thick. We've been told that Hardwick-Hindle was the parent company of Ohmite.
