Huge brutalist modern Mexican wrought iron sconces, mid-century vintage lighting

Pair of huge vintage iron wall sconces, probably from Mexico?  These have been used for candles, but they'd be fantastic converted to electric lighting for a mid-century brutalist style.

These measure about 19" long overall, and are very heavy. They're made to hold glass hurricanes or canister shades if desired - no shades are included.
