Planter with parrot, vintage Maddux - California pottery

Vintage pottery flower pot or planter, with small green parrot on a half-circle shaped base, made as TV planter (kind of like a TV lamp, but different!). This measures about 7" x 7" overall.

It's marked Maddux of California, and is in good shape - a few soil remains, but no chips or cracks.
