Vintage A C Gilbert Polar Cub oscillating machine-age office desk fan

Old 1930s or 1940s vintage Polar Cub oscillating fan made by Erector set toy and novelty maker A.C. Gilbert. It measures about 9" across the wire cage for the fan blades and 11 1/2" high overall.

This fan still has the original paper label inside the metal fan base and is marked with a US patent number from 1934. It is also marked as Cat No A321 and is rated for 30 watts.

This fan works, but it does have soil and needs a good cleaning.
