mod vintage ruby red glass ship's decanter, wine decanter or liquor bottle

Ruby red glass wine bottle made like a ship's decanter, with a short wide shape and a safe edge at the lip of the bottle. We've been told it's French, we'd guess the age at something between late 60s and early 80s.

It's 6 1/2" tall, with an all glass stopper. Both the bottle and the stopper are in very good condition without damage.
