Mid-century Seth Thomas industrial machine-age wall clock 1944 patent

Vintage machine-age industrial Seth Thomas electric wall clock. It measures 15" across and is marked with a US patent number on the clock motor from 1944. The clock is also marked "4710" (1947?) and we're guessing that this clock dates from the late 40s.

You can set the time with a knob and we've plugged this clock in and it runs and keep good time. There is some rust and drips of old paint to the metal case and the electrical plug has some cracking and you may want to rewire it.
