Washington DC landmarks, tiny painted plates, vintage Houze glass?

Two tiny glass dishes with detailed scenes of the US Capitol and the Jefferson Memorial, 1940s or very early 50s vintage, war years or just after? These are not marked, but are of the Houze glass type, with the curved corners tray shape. Both are 2 1/4" square, and both are in excellent condition.
