100 years Phoenix Glass 1880-1980 amber ashtray, vintage Anchor Hocking

Large amber glass ashtray celebrating 100 years of Phoenix Glass, 1880 to 1980. It's 5 1/2" in diameter, in excellen, unused condition.

The ashtray is made by Anchor Hocking glass, but we don't know if they were connected in any way to Phoenix (Consolidated?) Glass, or if they were just a popular choice for custom ashtrays! It doesn't look at all like any Phoenix art glass we've seen, but it might be that Phoenix was merged into the Hocking glass company at some point?
