70s vintage Oakland Tribune mugs with sports pages newspaper headlines

Two large mugs with 1973 Oakland Tribune 'papers', each one different, both 4 3/4" tall (beer steins or big coffee cups?). These are marked USA, maybe California pottery? Both mugs are in very good condition.
