vintage Japan ceramic baby deer bookends, hand-painted spotted fawn book ends set

Sweet little hand-painted ceramic book ends with baby deer, about 6" tall overall. These are made in Japan, mid-century vintage.

They're very light in weight, not made to hold heavy books. They'd be just the thing for a nursery, or as part of a 'deer' collection.

There's an old crack to a corner of one of the bases, and a little bit of light wear to the paint. Sounds worse than it looks, these are pretty nice!
