Vintage machine-age industrial UARCO sales or shop receipt writer

1940s or 1950s mid- century vintage shop or salesman's receipt writer made by UARCO. This is from an old farm estate and still has some of the unused carbon paper forms from a farm seed corn sales company. Back then many farmers would have distributorships from various seed companies and they would spend the winter months going around the neighborhood, peddling spring seed to the other farmers.

These receipt writers were common in stores, shops, service stations and with door to door salesman.

This measures 12.75" long, 8" wide and 3.25" thick. It has a stainless steel top and steel base with an industrial textured finish. The forms are 5.5" wide and about 7 625" long.
