Vintage Allied-Knight hand held CB Radio transceiver / walkie-talkie

Vintage handheld CB radio transceiver model C-555 Superhet made by Knight-kit with a red plastic case. This runs on a 9 volt battery and can be tuned with a plastic driver that is made to be stored inside on the case. There are adjustments for the antenna and oscillator and two others that aren't marked.

We hooked a battery up to this transceiver and the radio speaker crackles, but we didn't know how to tune this radio. There is a small crack to one corner.
