30s 40s vintage carved wood pin w/ cherries, tramp art whimsy jewelry

Vintage hand-crafted cherry bunch brooch or lapel pin, 1930s or 40s, not marked or signed that we could see. Tramp art, or a northwoods camp souvenir?

It's 4 1/4" x 3" wide, all wood except for the leather lacing stems of the cherries. There's some wear to the original paint, and wear and fraying to the leather as shown.
