Vintage leather covered decanter, glass liquor bottle w/ leatherwork

Vintage leather covered decanter bottle, from Italy or Turkey? Or almost anyplace else in the world, all we know for sure is that it was travel souvenir.

The bottom is marked, but so faintly we can't make it out... so we're not sure of the origins of this piece, though we know it's at least 30 years old.

The bottle with cover measures 9 1/2" tall overall, and looks to be in very good condition without cracks, chipping or noticeable wear to the leather.
