Retro aqua turquoise Arvin electric space heater, early 1950s vintage

Mid-century vintage, aqua turquoise electric space heater with the original aqua-turquoise finish. This vintage space heater is rated as 1650 watts and has a built in air circulator fan. We've tested this and it works well. It measures about 17" x 17" x 9".

This heater is in very nice vintage condition, still with the original Arvin badge on the front next to the control knob.

This was made by Arvin Industries Inc. of Columbus, Indiana and is from the late 1940s or early 1950s. The electric plug on the cord is marked with a US patent number from 1932 and US patents of that era ran for a period of 17 years (aprox. 1949 - 1950), although the plug may have come out of inventory after they stopped marking them with the patent number.
