1940s vintage pulp sci-fi story magazine, Astounding Science Fiction - Jan 1947

Retro mid-century vintage 1940s pulp science fiction magazine. "Astounding Science Fiction" from January, 1947. The cover story for this magazine is "Tomorrow and Tomorrow" by Lewis Padgett. There are also stories by George O. Smith, Harry Walton, A. Bertram Chandler and others. There is also an article on early space race rockets by Willy Ley "Improving upon V-2".

We don't know anything about grading pulp magazines, but this issue does have wear, age and the edges of the covers and the spine are ragged. There is a "1 7" in ink on the bottom edge of the pages.
