1940s sci-fi magazine pulp cover, Astounding Science Fiction, L. Ron Hubbard

Vintage 1940s pulp science fiction magazine, "Astounding Science Fiction" from August, 1947. The cover story for this issue is "The End is Not Yet", by L. Ron Hubbard. There are also stories by Raymond F. Jones, Harry Walton and others.

We don't know anything about grading pulp magazines, but this issue has wear and age. The back cover loose (but here) and there is some damage to the spine and the top left corner of the cover. There is also a "87" in ink on the bottom edge of the pages.
