Mid-century 40s sci-fi magazine w/ pulp cover art, Astounding Science Fiction

Vintage mid-century 1940s pulp science fiction magazine, "Astounding Science Fiction" from September, 1947. There are stories by George O. Smith, Eric Frank Russell, Jack Vance and others. The magazine Astounding Science Fiction is still published under the title Analog.

We don't know anything about grading pulp magazines, but this issue does have wear and age. There is wear and ragging to the edges of the cover and the cover is coming loose from the binding. There is also a "97" in ink on the bottom edge of the pages.
