60s retro enamelware tea kettle, vintage sunshine yellow & black enamel metal teapot

Bright cheerful vintage enamel ware teakettle, nice and big, holds about 2 quarts and measures 8" in diameter overall. Stands 11 1/2" tall with the handle in the fullest up position.

It's made in Japan, though it has that Scandinavian modern style!

This is water tight yet, though it's been well loved and is pretty shabby now. There's enamel loss with rust spotting inside and out, and mineral deposits to the interior. It would make a lovely watering can for your windowsill garden or your houseplants.
