Lot of assorted vintage air variable capacitors for shortwave radio tuning etc.

Lot of eight assorted air variable capacitors from the estate of a shortwave and ham radio enthusiast.

One of these is marked "Defiance" and carries a US patent number from 1930. It measures about 2.25" x 2.5".

There are two capacitors that measure about 2.25" x 1.75". One of these capacitors is marked "648-S" and one is marked "628A".

The capacitor with the red knob measures about 2" long and is marked "19B24917". Another one is marked "Variable Cond. Corp" and measures about 1" x 1.75".

These have age, tarnish etc. and all came of the stash of a radio ham.
