Retro 1940's vintage cotton tapestry carpetbag satchel handbag purse

Vintage 40s handbag with cute satchel shape and cotton tapestry fabric exterior with imitation (we think?) leather trim. This measures 8" x 6" over the bag, 4" wide at the bottom of the bag, and has little metal feet.

The purse is clean and in good condition inside and out, the handle has a few loose stitching threads but is good and solid, and handbag clasp works well. This has no maker's label at all that we could find, sorry!
