Vintage mechanical pencils, lot of vintage advertising pencils, Empire Oil Co, Du Pont

Large lot of over 30 assorted retro and vintage mechanical pencils. These are mostly advertising pencils and we saw some great advertising, like a 1940s or 1950s pencil for Empire Oil Company in California with the top made to look like a tiny oil can, plain black Scripto pencils, marked "Property of Du Pont Experimental Station" and another marked "U.S. Government".

We saw pencils for auto parts in San Francisco, tool suppliers, garages and more.

We saw one ball point pen and a number of pencils marked with advertising. Most of these are worn.
