Hollywood regency vintage pen holder w/ Italian art glass flower ladies writing table or desk

Mid-century vintage pen holder with a hollywood regency style... can't you just see this at a writing table for dashing off a few notes or autographs? It's an Italian art glass flower at the top, about 4" in diameter, milk white glass cased in clear glass.

The stand is about 7 1/2" tall and looks very good, this doesn't appear to have had a lot of use. The plastic pen does need a new ink.
