Big mod pottery birds, 60s vintage, retro brown drip glaze

We aren't sure if these are made to be lightweight book ends, or just large figurines... but we love these retro pottery birds, so cool! They are about 8 1/2" tall (heights vary slightly), unmarked, with an earthy brown drip glaze. Both are in very nice condition without damage.
