Vintage metal coat-of-arms heraldry w/medieval german eagle

Large vintage medieval or renaissance style heraldic coat-of-arms wall plaque. It has the imperial German eagle, popular in the heraldry of the medieval Holy Roman Empire (the confederation of feudal states founded in the 9th century by Charlemange that made up medieval Germany) and was usually depicted as a black eagle on a yellow or gold field. This coat-of-arms plaque measures 17 1/2" high and 12" wide and is cast metal (probably an aluminum or zinc alloy). We're not sure of the exact vintage of this piece, but are guessing the 1930s through the 1960s. This has some flaking and peeling to the antiqued gold finish.
