Arthur Court vintage aluminum lion letter opener paper knife sword

Lion handle paper knife or letter opener shaped like a dagger, 6 3/4" along the blade, 11 3/4" end to end. The very tip of the blade has been broken off. We saw no other flaws.

This is marked, though we can't make out the marking except for the copyright symbol. It's dated '78, possibly Arthur Court - seems likely, a lion in aluminum, late 70s vintage? But could be Italy, we think - a renaissance style piece seems possibly Italian?

Whatever it is, we like it! There's nothing like a good sword to do battle with the mail.
