Vintage purple glass canister jar or candy dish, flower shape box w/ cover

We love this! It's a deep purple colored glass dish with lid, forming a large flower (a daisy? a zinnia? something bright and retro!). We don't know the exact origins of this piece, but would guess it's American made glass, 60s or 70s vintage.

Measures 5 1/4" in diameter x 6 1/2" tall overall. There's a flat chip to the rim of the jar, barely visible even when the cover is removed.
