vintage Georges Briard Persian Garden huge round tin tray, hand-painted metal charger plate

Unusual piece of vintage Briard... we've never found a metal tray in any of the Georges Briard designs before. This one is signed on the back, and is hand painted metallic gold in the Persian Garden pattern.

It's heavy steel, and about 19" in diameter. A classic mid-century serving tray, we mostly find these with mod bar-b-que designs! This does have some finish wear, no rust, but wear to the paint.
