blue light special, vintage glass globe shade for special purpose lamp or industrial light fixture

Vintage glass globe shade for a industrial style fixture or pendant light... this has an applied blue finish seemingly original to the piece. We have no idea as to its original purpose, but it looks cool.

This measures 9 3/4" overall diameter, 7 1/2" deep, 4 7/8" across the fitter rim. It's in very good clean condition without, chips, cracks, scratching or discoloration.
