Wide silver band glass vintage Dorothy Thorpe bowls, Studio cake plate

Retro mid-century vintage serving pieces. There are two Dorothy Thorpe silver band glass bowls - the large one measures 10 1/4" x 4 1/2" deep, and the small one measures 5 1/2" x 2 1/2" deep.

The large (14" diameter) flat glass cake or torte plate came to us with these bowls, though we have no idea if these were originally a set together or not? The cake plate has a silver plated metal foot, marked Studio Silver Smiths.

All are in excellent condition, with no scratching or damage to the glass, and just a very little light tarnish to the silver.
